I was looking at just purchasing the newer door handles that are painted body matched for my truck, instead of painting my own. I need a vin though so I can get the right handles.

Truck needs to be sonic blue
Handles need to be painted stock

Any one have a truck/vin like this?

Sonic blue is only offered 03-05 i believe, the color that does have painted handles would be 06+ with Vista Blue two different colors.

I had mine painted.

 

my 02 is sonic blue but has regular handles

 

Actually its 03-06. Ended in I believe mid 06 or so.

 

it must be a rare 02 then or really late because most 02s are bright island blue.

 

06 did they paint handles?

 

It’s true they made Sonic blue in late 02. I worked at the ford dealer at that time and I remember remarking about the “ugly purple ranger on the lot.” It had the 4x4 Off road sticker on the side and when the ‘03s came in a month later the same package was the FX4 Off road. I was mad when I later found out they dropped Bright Island Blue for that color.

Sonic BLUE is not PURPLE.

If it was purple they would call it SONIC PURPLE

 

Yeah and my Cadillac isn't Pink! Other wise they'd call it Pink!
