New Glassworks fenders
Went this morning to pick up some brand new 4 inch Glassworks fenders. On the way home stopped by a Home Depot and picked up some sand paper, primer, and gloss black cans. Really didn't know how it would turn out but I was actually impressed with my rattle can ability. I just couldn't pay the money to get them painted knowing our Ocotillo trip is coming up and they will most likely get scratched. Why not just rattle can it and do touch ups later? I'm going to finish the job with the clear coat tomorrow. Here are some pics of what I did today. I'll update the pictures tomorrow.

Lol I guess the people who aren't feelin it don't have suspension. Let's just say trying to have a good time in the desert when you have stock fenders sucks. The last trip we were at Stoddard Wells and I kept bashing my fenders to the point where it bent one. And Kevin is right, fiberglass isn't really for looks. I needed them for the clearnace and I needed them black. I don't like the gel coat white look that most people drive around with. I figured why not see what kind of a job some rattle cans would do. Worst case is it looks like crap and I spend 30 mintues sanding it off. I'll post up the pics tomorrow after I put on the clear coat. Oh and yes the Camburg kit does widen the stance. Only 1 1/2" per side.

Yeah its pretty nice knowing I can do a quick fix for about 10 bucks. I got some quotes to have them painted. Nobody was under $250 so I said forget it. I'm going outside to finish the clear coat and finish the bed cage so I'll post up some pics when I'm finished.
