Oi Vey! Tail Light issues.

So, I'm apparently a short bus rider. If you get my meaning.

I just got a set of Euro Tails and 07 Tails. Neither of them will fit my truck. It's because it's a 98 2wd, I'm sure. The inside screws on the Euros (don't match up) and the 07s? Woo doggy. Don't get me started. Anyways. They don't fit. I should have known this, right? It was a horrible assumption that they'd fit.

...right? Either way, I have two sets of tails for sale.

Flareside has nothing to do with it? My bed is fine. It's never been in an accident.

hey, i tried to call you, i forgot to tell you, with the flareside beds you have to cut a piece of the bed out behind the tail light, ill look for it on the forums later, unless someone else can post a how-to or pics.

dude lifted97ranger...they will fit you have to grind off some crap!i had the same problem!and they fit perfect now... theres those 2 lil black plastic clips on the top and bottom of the light where the screws go in on the inside of the bed/tailgate.. that slide in that lil slot...you have to take a dremel tool or a grinder and grind off those tabs. i was like WTF too when i got mine! but grind them lil plastic tabs and the holes will line up. u have to use longer screws on the outsides(not the ones inside your bed post by the tailgate) but there ya go thats how u mod them...if ya want ill send ya a pic of what i did to make mine work.

So. Apparently there's the way to get them 07s to fit my flareside? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Especially since I'm doing the front end conversion soon.

The thing is, they're not simply bolting in. I think it's cause of them black things that the one dude was talking about removing. When I try and put them on right now, they're not lining up right, AT ALL.
