This is where I am at now. Both gaps (between bar and tailgate and between both bars) will have a line of fire LED with white reverse lights. Do you see a problem with coating it with bedliner instead of painting it sonic blue? It's gonna be a pain to smooth out the rusty metal to get a blue spray laid down.

 

I would say it would look a lot better with the blue, but for ease of everything, do the bedliner for sure!!!

 

Eh, I'd take a wire wheel to it personally. I think you should do that and paint it sonic blue to match the rest of the truck. I don't think it fits your truck's "persona" to bedline the bumper.

take your time and do it blue. its taken alot of time to get it this far take a little more time and finish it out right. blue would look very nice!

 

I agree with all he pro-blue comments above! I think it will look alot nicer with blue paint!

 

Thanks everyone. I'll paint it blue, but will probably put that clear crinkle finish rocker panel spray over it. It should help to hide some flaws.
