Alright I have decided I need to start modding my truck. I have a black 99 xtracab 4x4 xlt. Right now my truck is stock and black. I just won some black projector lights for $37 pretty sweet deal. So I'm going to get the matching black corners. Now I want to break up the black a little bit. So here is what I'm thinking. I have a black grill now. I am thinking of putting on a chrome grill then putting in some black inserts. Maybe a chrome edge bumper and valence too. Think it would look good this way? If someone could photoshop this for me I would really appreciate it. I'll try to find some pics. That's basically what I want it to look like except chrome grill with these inserts. Here's a grill. these lights and corners and finally this bumper.

Yeah they should look pretty sweet. I'll post pics when I get them in. Anybody have any idea if I'll be able to run Silverstars in these?

 

You can run them in anything as long as you get the bulb to fit the application.

37 BUCKS!!!! When i got my headlights, i saw those for about 200$!!!

 

Yeah I'll get the one with fogs. I was mainly looking for the chrome bumper part. I think my truck was crashed before I got it. I have an XLT so it should be a chrome grille and bumpers anyway. Also, the grill I have now has the vertical bars that stick in front of the horizontal bar. So just to put inserts in the one I have now would be 3 piece and I don't like that.

 

Yeah 37 bucks. Well plus 30 shipping. The person I bought them from bought them for an 01 Edge just to find out they don't fit. They were listed in the auction he bought them from for 99-01. I feel bad for him so I sent him a message to come on over here so he can learn something.
