Painted fender flares and bumpers.
I wanted to get rid of all the paint chips from the flares and decided on a color change. I decided to go with charcoal grey effect. Opinions on weather or not to paint the bottom half of truck to match?
No I did not use a spray can. I went through way too much prep work to just spray can it. Urethane single stage. The rear bumper was brought down to bare steel and epoxy primed and then painted. Its a 2004 ford charcoal grey effect color. I also put the 3m protective stickers (comes in a 6" by 84" roll) on all the leading edges and rear quarters. But you can't see it in the pictures.
They are the factory flares. Sanding and more sanding to get the bumper to steel. The main reason I brought it down to bare steel was the leading edges were rusting very bad. Also few spots along the bumper. I did not want to use any spot putty or bondo. I did a lot of prep work. like 6 + hours of sanding. I didn't want any sand marks to show through.
Over kill yes. But when I do something I try my best to do it right the first time.

I love everything you have done and yes spraying it the proper way will yield the best results, it's about time someone besides me don't believe in spray cans :) well at least when it comes to exterior work, which takes more of a beating from the elements.
