Painted Grille

so i decided to look to buy a grille on ebay today, and suprisingly grilles were cheap, billet ones were like $40.................and then there was this guy selling the stock plastic grilles for $25, but he painted them first and called them "custom grilles" , so that gave me an idea, i took mine off and gave it 5 coats of semigloss black and it turned out nice IMO, but now im thinking i should paint it to match my paint job, i dunno, wat do u guys think? also should i put one of those chain-link fence looking inserts behind it?

yes, im aware that my front end needs some work... hehe

I would color match the grille and maybe paint the mesh black.

why not paint red mesh to accent the grille, yet still match your truck?

I say color match it to the rest of the truck and put the mesh being it, that'll look good!

One thing that I had painted on my 95 was that plastic molding on the bumper. I thought it looked pretty good.

I have a brushed aluminum speed grille that I had powder coated gloss black. It goes great with my white truck. Check out my cardomain page for pics.
