I want to have black rims on my truck but I dont think their is anything wrong with my rims will I have problems if I paint them black like not all ghetto with spray paint but the right way or will they start fading and chipping in the long run if so how do I go about it

 

I painted my teardrops black with spraypaint and then a clearcoat and they looked just fine.





After about 6 months I painted them all black, they're chipped a little cause I didn't put clearcoat on that time...

The OP of this thread will be doing a write up of how he did his wheels. BBS rxII's on his Jetta. So far they are coming out nicely.
