question about nerf bars
question about nerf bars
i just installed some nerf bars on my truck as some of you may know. but im not sure on the mounting.
this may be difficult to understand so bare with me
its only being held on by 1 bolt in the front and 1 in the back, yes or no? (2 door brackets)
so here my good pics
is their and how do you get another bolt there?

1 bolt for the back, correct? no other holes line up so im assuming yes??

mine has stupid little bracket thingy um front with two bolts through it that moves. out back i have 4 holes that bolts can go through.
edit: are you using stock nerf bars or aftermarket. yours looks way different than mine lol

Well these pictures are from your last post so I'll put them back up. These are for 2 door bars on a 2 door truck.
Rear Mounting Bracket

You can see where the second bolt goes by looking at the back of the bracket there.
Here is where the second bolt goes by looking at the other side.

After looking at your pics again you have the back bracket on incorrectly. The mount needs to be on the inside of the cab where you have your bolt, not the outside. Then the other mounting tab you have on the wrong side of the rib that comes down off the cab. My pics should clear it up.
No problem. I'm just glad when I bought mine from a guy he let/made me take them off. That way I knew exactly how they went on and I made sure I took all the hardware.
