I would go with the dark forest green with a little metal flake of those three. No question black looks awesome when clean, but can be frustrating when it shows dirt right away. I figure if you are going through the effort of changing the color it is something you will want to show off.

Keep in mind to change the color it is a good amount of work, the interior surfaces, between cab and bed, under hood, inner fenders, and firewall are all purple now. So to change it is not a simple spray.

it can be a simple spray if he doesn't care but i have seen people just do the out side and not the jams or anything and it drives me nuts i cant stand that. the hardest part to paint is going to be your firewall.

paint it the orange/bronze metallic that the new ford edge is out in. that color on a ranger w/ 35" tires on black rims would be straight gorgeous.
