light tabs

ok well i realize that with my bull bar and my lights it covers up my tow hooks so i was wondering if anyone new weather i would be able to get the light tabs and install them and put the lights on the tabs so i could keep my bull bar and still have acess to my tow hooks. so i guess my question is will there be clearence enouph to use the light tabs and still be able to keep my bull bar? Thanks.

Well...not too sure about the bull bar w/ lite tabs, but I know for sure your okay with the lite tabs w/ lites installed and still being able to use tow hooks, stock ones at least.

Post a pic of your front end, that'll help.

EDIT: Well, I changed my mind, I looked at your cardomain, and well.....lite tabs look like a no go.....but custom made lite tabs would work. They'll need to have enough lift to clear the bar. With custom lite tabs, you'll be able to run your lites on tabs, and still use your tow hooks. But then again, the other pics kind a look like they'll work. It's work the $25-30 bucks to see if it'll work. It's looks like it'll be tight.

Good luck!!

Here's the pic from cardomain:

our light tabs are pretty short, they may work, if you can measure how far the bar is from the BACK of the bumper where the tab would mount, ill tell you if our tabs will work

If you were down here in TX, we could bend up something custom.....

Your other option would be to have someone weld some steel on to the back of the bull bar near the top to put the lights through. That way they are above the bar instead of sitting down behind it.

Have you thought about drilling two holes in the top of the bullbar to mount the lights? Looking at the pic Shane posted, the lights would be over the grill opening and out of the way.

another hole in the back of the tube big enough to slip a nut in. Just an idea. i think positioning the lights there would look pretty cool and would not interfere with tow rigging or the license plate.

What about welding some tabs on the bill bar to mount the lites.....cheap, easy way to mod the bull bar.

almost forgot, our tabs are 4 5/16" from the back of the bumper to the front of the tab, you should be able to use them if you have 5 inches to your bar
