Rear window visor

Does anyone here have a rear window visor? i'm wanting to know how far down on the window it comes from the top of the window.This is what i'm talking about. Name:  G_14983G_CL_1.jpg

They come down about 3/8's of the way, I believe.

Not quite a half, not quite a quarter.

Then again, it also depends on the type of visor you get.

Wow... never seen one that big... I've only seen the small ones that match the ones on the front...

Maybe its a Texas thing lol . . . ive seen em here a lot . . . they come down about 6 to 8 inches.

I REALLLLLY dont get it at all. WTF does it do!!!???!?!?!??!?!?



i mean...IF the slider goes up and down, i can see a purpose....but since our sliders go sideways, WTF does it do!!?!?!?!?

It confuses people with double lifted DWB rangers

it's so your not blinded by the headlights behind you at night. (the lights reflecting off your inside mirror)

its called tint... cheaper prob too

Yeah, and tint won't snap or crack when you're cleaning snow and ice off the truck.....LOL But in Tx, I don't think you have to worry about that.

I've seen those back window things and IMO they are just as useless as the back quarter window vents. I've seen 4 piece window covers around and I shake my head. Why buy the 2 covers that go on the back quarter windows? WTF!

"Its for the rain" . . . . was the answer i got from a local parts dealer. Only thing i can think of is that it would allow you to have the windows open when its raining . . . purpose for that . . IDK maybe the driver is smoking ???

I didn't have that particular model on my '96 Ranger...I had the smaller one that was like half of that hang down. I only bought it to keep the rain out when I had the rear window open and it worked. Wasn't the prettiest of things, but like I said, it worked.
