Remove side stripe decals (Mazda)

Sorry if a similar question has been posed, has anyone with a Mazda successfully removed the side pinstripe type decals along the side of the truck? Idk if it would be the same as removing regular pinstrips, but since these are much bigger it might be more difficult. Mine are cracking off pretty bad but I just want to take them off entirely.

Thanks, I can get a pic if needed, I don't know what other year Mazda's had these besides 94-97.

A hair dryer and some patience is all you need.

^ This. And get the leftovers with some Goo Gone or an eraser wheel on a drill. WD40 works okay too!

All right, cool I will try that. Thanks!

I guess I'll have to wait and try when I figure out how to get to some outside power run (apartment life :( ), can't wait to try getting these decals off.

All those methods work, also "adhesive remover" from body shop supply is good for the final cleanup.

Get a converter for your cigarette lighter if you can't find any other way to get power run.

Thanks for the replies. I got ahold of a heat gun and plastic paint scraper and with some heat it came right off. I was hoping to do what you were saying Mcleary but I don't think heat gun would provide enough power, the light blinked but wouldn't turn on until running on an outlet. Either way, I got it done at the folks in an afternoon. I do still have to remove the remaining adhesive with some more heat and goo gone or adhesive remover, but even so it looks 10x cleaner than before (not real noticeable until you're close up). I've never seen a Mazda of that body style without the stripes before so I'm definitely happy with this mod :)
