previous owner apperantly had a cap or rack on the bed. it has dug to the the metal on the bed. how to fix that? also looks like the truck was in a fender bender and has dent with scratches going back wards over the gas door. they painted over the scratches with a shitty *** blue and it looks like crap. i recently used plolish compound and it made it look way better. id like to fix these flaws. idk rather to brush it or try to spray it but its not really that much to spray. would buffering after brushing take out the brush marks. what would you recommened? what would i need for the cheapest best fix

 

sand and repaint with a proper paint gun/paint
