need to get all the scratches out of my paint

well, while living in reno, i have aquired a LOT of nevada pinstriping. from all the narrow trails with trees along them. since i wont be doing a whole lot of wheelin this summer, im gonna use that as the perfect opportunity to make the truck look new again

what should i use on the truck? they mostly look like surface scratches

what do you guys suggest?

a nice awesome buff job should do the trick. I recently had my pinstripes removed from a member's brother. It's never looked better.

Product wise? idk. not my department. lol.

Invest in a PC 7424...awesome buffer and gets the job done.

Look at some application videos and watch how to work the PC.

Then you need to figure out what products you want to use. I like Megs and Menzerna...

And then finish it off with a good wax...DoDo Juice, Wet Obsession, Fuzion, Pinnacle, Optimum, etc.

Should get rid of most of the light scratches and swirls.

Sounds simple huh?

A good high speed buffer with a foam pad will get rid of most light scratches. For the deeper scratches some wet sanding with 2000 grit paper before buffing will do the trick. If they are deeper than that you need paint.
