Stepside with a cap
Stepside with a cap
Anyone have some pics with a lifted stepside and a cap. I'm contemplating installing a cap instad of the tonneau since I carry so much stuff lately. I'd like to see a few pics though beforehand.
For the cap in that pic, I was quoted $955 about a year ago for it, and that didn't include any type of tax (I was gonna get it in New Hampshire). It is expensive, but if you need to keep big stuff out of the elements, I would say go for it. I still plan on getting one soon too.
They aren't that bad looking.. But then I'm not opposed to a cap anyway.
If you do go for a cap Jason, make sure you get one w/ the intergrated roof rack for all your toys. My dad's old neighbor used to have caps w/ racks on all his trucks (including a Mazda B-series). He had a canoe pretty much permanantly installed on that rack and it worked out great for him. He could single hand the ~14' boat off that roof while out in the middle of nowhere..
I'd seriously consider it if I had the money..
