Not many know about it....

I'm still up in the air about it. I mean, as far as outright power, 5.0 for sure. Definately a blown 5.0.

However, I have to keep reminding myself that any true Saleen has been known for a balance of speed AND handling, not just fun in a straight line.

A supercharged 3.0 would be about as heavy as a 5.0....and both yield about the same HP, so toss a coin on that one.

A supercharged 5.0 will weigh a great deal, meaning I'm going to have serious traction issues in the rear, and the F/R weight balance will be upset. This would also be to my disadvantage while autocrossing.

EITHER WAY, my true goal with this truck (performance wise) is a flat 14 in the 1/4 mile, while still having enough balance to bust some *** on the twisties.....blown 5.0 would probably put me in deep 13's, but at the cost of mileage/driveability/balance otherwise....

We shall see.....I can tell you that either way, it's gonna be fast....it's GOT TO BE.

Oh, and the trashcans are nice!

Thanks again everyone....
