Can a old tailgate say 85-87 with the big pressed ford on them fit my 2004. I would really like the look of that I think.

 

No, it will be too narrow, 1983 to 1992 used the same beds and tailgates

1993 to 2011 beds were same but wider than earlier beds,..........there were two models on 1993 and up, style side(regular bed), and flare side/step side which had narrower tailgate, but I think it was narrower than the '83-'92
