They did and found it to be true. It was in the first season.

Language problem solved....

To those I deeply offened I appologize. In the first post of this thread I called a woman a vulgar name and should've edited it sooner. But that name sure does fit her to say the least considering what she was doing to cause all of this. Plus I am partly to blame for not making sure my straps were up to par. Shame on me for that. Plus I should've waited for the better straps.

I really would love to get my hands on her. Good for me and very, very bad for her. But I suppose she'll be paying out the **** when she goes to court. Cop told me I didn't have to go. Plus he just happened to see the whole thing and caught it on video in his cruiser.

Yep it was. the cop got that part on video to. He was parked right in front of a no U-turns permitted sign. A blind man could've seen this sign. they just put it up due to alot of people making U-turns there. Plus she didn't even look either. I called that woman evrything in the book and even got creative too.

Yep. Plus she's gotton tickets for that very reason before according to what the cop said when she tried to talk herself out of 2 tickets. The cell phone bit she was doing is illegal in this state without a hands free device.

Nope. Plus technically not enough damage was done to even write up an accident report which was a huge relief off my back. My driving record stays damn near perfect. I got a speeding ticket in first year of driving which was nearly 18 years ago now. That speeding ticket I got has been long gone for sure but I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Nope. It aint but you know how I am concerning my truck. That's what kind of temper I have basicly. Plus that is also one of the things that really sets me off: bad drivers. I can't stand them at all. I got worse when I was trained as a proffesional driver. I also know you would've went off the deep end too if it happened to you.

In California it's legal to talk on a cell phone while driving; you just have to use a hands free device. It's also legal to send/receive text messages while holding the phone in your hand and looking at it while driving. The governor just signed the bill but the no text messaging law doesn't go into effect until January 1, 2009.

It's pretty much nation wide just alot states don't enforce it. CA has had it for a while but it only pertain to commercial vehicles. I had a trainee at swift found that out when we were in CA. He got fined $300.00 bucks for it. Now what he passed is for all vehicles period. It's also illegal here in VA,NY,MN, SC and it's strictly enforced in those states too.

Yes. I knew it would rain. I have bad luck don't I? I could survive a plane crash but get killed on the way to the hospital because the damn ambulance wrecks.

I hated california. as an 18 wheeler driver it sucks. Especially those damn scales over in Banning. If you drive an 18 wheeler and you're going through there count on spending at least 4 hours or more within that scale house. Plus some of the laws you guys have out there is somewhat questionable to say the least. But it probably aint bad if you're a tourist though.

just make sure whoever replaces the glass gives you the proper one:

my friend had his trucks rear glass replaced while he was at work, he came out to find they used clear glass instead of the factory tinted kind his truck came with.

so, make sure the glass installers use the right tint of glass.

Already did that before they even came. They asked which one I needed. They also tried to con me out of $20.00 bucks too. It didn't work. $20.00 bucks for el cheapo wiper blades. Not on my watch. I aint replacing RainX wiper blades for cheaper ones especially when they're practically new.

Would've posted it sooner, but this site had technical difficulties and from looking inside I have to fix that headliner a bit but that's ok. My next project will involve a whole new interior, 5.7 litre Hemi with MDS (fuel and air shuts off from 4 of the cylinders), coverting to 5 speed auto trans and new paint. Basicly a ground up resto. Frame and all. It will be a while yet cause I'm having a bit of trouble locating parts because this aint been done before. I have looked for those who have been wondering.
