where to buy a new tail gate?
98 3.0 4x4 ext cab Black, My tailgate is rusted thru on the bottom and I would like to replace it. Where and how much??

wheres Bedford? wierd a 98 is rusted through... but have you called any local salvage yards??

to get a good tailgate either from the dealer or junkyard or a member here, you want a true ford tailgate, the quality is much better and the steel is not as thin.

I am in Bedford, Pa (south Central) and I am going with a true ford only. I haven't called around yet just wanted to get an idea on cost.

I have a project tailgate that I was going to shave but I'm pretty much over it. Problem is, it's half sanded down to bare metal and I'm very far to ship something this size to you.
