New chrome rear bumper question

I'm looking to tint my back window and 2 doors and am trying to figure out weather i want to pay someone to do it or do it myself. Has anyone had experience with one or the other?

Tint... Do it yourself or Professionally

I have done both, on our ranger to do it yourself its easy because you dont have to heat it with our windows its not bowed enough. i'd say if you havent done it or ever try it dont. or if you dont like your job get it done, but in the long run if you have never done it get it done. there are somethings your need to know how to do well other wise it wont turn out good.

Well i'll probably read up on some "how-to's" and buy some. Does anyone have any pics of 35% tint on their Ranger's? 35% is the lowest here in MD and that is for the sides and rear window. But i think i may do a 20% tint in the back. Do you think that would look good? Or just do 35% all the way around?

What is the lowest your state allows? And they probably wouldnt care too much about the back window being darker than the rest. And after looking at your car domain page, 35% probably would be kind of light. Perhaps i'll do a 20% all the way around.

I didnt trust my patients enough to try to do it on my own, so i had a tint guy do it.. i love it too, he got me in and out, and then told me that if it ever chips, peels, cracks, changes colors, or if i need it taken off for legal reasons, take it back to him, and he'll keep me satisfied!!!
