Tow-Hook mounting ???

Tow-Hook mounting ???

where is a safe place in the frount to put this tow hook ??? http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/E...r_towhooks.htm i have a 2000 Ranger XL 2WD and i am going to bumper mod my bumper has about a 1 1/2'' gap and i hat to make a little more room in the bracket on one side to move up other side has about 1'' of movment left.. but where is a goo place too mount it ?

It's survived about 20-30 pulls so far, thanks to spring creek..

if you dont mind could you give me a few more pics of the place it is mounted and the bracket dose it have 1 or 2 bolts holding it to the truck ??? thanks for all the help..

It goes through one of the bolts that holds the bumper bracket to the frame. Lotsa people said I shouldn't go with that setup, but the front end of a xl/xlt sucks for hooks if you don't wanna cut up the bumper2frame mounts. I like the look a lot, but after using these so much, they've bent outward a lot and sometimes people are worried about pulling me out from the front, accident waiting to happen, blahblahblah.. so I'm getting a real front crossmember and factory hooks, in a couple weeks..
