ok so i have a '99 ranger xlt 2wd and i want to put tow hooks on it at the stock height. is there any good way to do this with the stock bumper and all?

 

do you have a solid front crossmember or the two piece? if you have the two piece front tow hooks are going to be tough to put on

 

get some of these and bolt em to the bottom of the frame.

 

ill try to get some pics up tomm but in the front in the gap between my valence and bumper(the one that lets air get to your radiator) some of the arms that hold on the bumper is stickin out and im thinkin bout puttin them there

 

unless youre being towed out by an r/c car or you dont have a valance, mounting those to your frame will rip off your valance on a 98-00

 

my original plan for this summer was to take the valence off and make a skid plate. recently i have been looking for a 4wd play toy though. and i have found a 1977 f-100 4wd with a 390 big block backed by a c5 or c6(not sure) 4 speed with a granny gear out the **** and im not sure what kind of transfer case or diffs but it runs good and all but for 800 buck what can i say? if my folks will let me ima get it
