The molding on the exterior passenger door panel directly under the window of my truck is coming off of the metal underneath it and chipping away. I drive an 05 ranger XLT 4x4 and dont know what to call this piece to order a new one. Could someone help me please?

 

This look right? Its called a front outer window sweeper felt or a front outer window scraper seal. Different parts for right or left door.

 

I believe she's referring to the trim highlighted in the attached photo... the rubber coating is also peeling away on my door topper. Is there a rubber adhesive strip available to go over what appears to be a metal trim piece?

 

Looks like I found the answer.... not as easy as just replacing the rubber coating.
