I'm getting a pair of fog lights, but have one concern. Should I get black plastic or Black Steel, those are my only two options offered in black in the KC HiLITES Lights - 57 Series 5" x 7" Rectangular that i want to get. I only want black, why ..i dont know?

My concern is that plastic is weak or may crack, but black steel might rust because of the long mn winters ( its says that they are steel and only offer stainless steel in chrome)

what do you think i should do

black plastic or black steel

get the plastic ones. it's a hardened plastic, so you won't break them (unless you have an accident) and KC offers a warranty.
are you getting the clear or amber fogs?

 

Go with the plastic. I got a pair of old 46 series running up front and love 'em. They also came with both a clear driving lens and a amber fog lens.
