I see some of you have the lights in the middle, others on the far bottom edge, are the middle round lights meant for something other then fog lights?

My truck dosn't have foglights, so what do I do?

And how hard is the wiring??

 

u have ur offroad lights, then u have ur driving style lights<~~ which u'd probly want.. the driving lights arent as bright as the offroad lights i think.. wiring isnt hard at all.. brand.. i'd go w/ KC.. they are expesive.. but worth it...pro comp, and hella lights are good also..im sure if zach stone comes in here.. he'll be able to fill u in more then i ever could

 

My lights are mounted on each side of my linsince plate. I got them at pep boys, for about 30 dollars.

 

Josh - If your userpic is your truck it looks mainly street. Would agree with Red, go with the driving lights. I am doing the same thing to my ranger over time, just starting to acquire the parts since I want mine to look more stock on the inside. There is a specific stereo bezel that has the lamp switch, yada, yada...

I am not that mechanical but I bought the KC's for my son's Ramcharger and the instructions were excellent. I am thinking it took me about an hour, and most of that time was spent fishing the wires from inside the engine compartment through the drivers door side and into the cab. The rest of it was a breeze.

Question to those that know on this board, where is the best place to feed the wires into the cab?

 

in mine i just drilled a hole through the firewall right under the steering and fed it through there

 

i'm a hella man (been since 1983) anyways, i chose lights that would compliment the truck and would also be effective. i hate seeing a truck with lights that look silly on it (a big f-250 with tiny 2'' round lights on the top bumper) or seeing a tiny mazda miata with huge hella 550's... waaay to big for this car!!

so whatever lights you choose, remember that they should look good day OR night!

 

My truck is mainly street, any 'off road' action it gets is sand and a few jaring bumps, nothing that needs big tires or a lift.

It's nice to be in FL, and to be able to go off road..

Of course riding around in Jacksonville, you'll find streets that if you wanted a safer/sturdier drive, you'd go off road.

I plan on getting some better photos, just gotta get my video editing software on the comp to get the audio I took of my squeek/belt issue.

I bought my fogs off a guy on here, actually..... I installed the factory fogs with in 2 months of owning the truck
