I have an 04 XLT with the chrome bumper and valance with out fog lights. I'm planning to add fog lights to my truck but I like the look of the 08 valance with the round fog lights. I'm thinking if I'm going to add fogs I might as well get the ones I want so I need to know, will just the valance interchange? or do I have to swap the whole bumper? If i have to swap everything will the 08 bumper fit on my truck no problem? Anything else needed besides the bumper. Thanks

 

u need an 08 bumper as well and it will fit direct to ur truck.. i've seen a 98-00 with an 08 bumper/valance

 

01-05 and 06+ bumpers and valences dont interchange with eachother. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT designs. You'll need to get a 06+ bumper, then put the '08 round fog valence on it. 06+'s utilize bumper covers, so you'll need the bumpercover, the actual metal bumper behind it, bumper brackets, and of course the valence.

Though, the 06+ bumper will bolt directly to the frame horns on all 98+ trucks.
