Will a 1993-94 Splash grille fit on 1996 XLT?
Hey guys, new here and recently picked up a 1996 XLT 4.0 that I finally have the time and energy to start playing with. I was curious if I would be able to swap out the stock grille on the 96 for a 93-94 Splash grille like the one here? It looks like everything should line up/fit but I want to be sure. I love the look of the logo at the top and have ever since I was a kid. Anything I need to know about installation and/or if this will even work?

Seems like the site won't let me upload pics but here is a link to a pic on a 94: https://i.imgur.com/ZMyIpUl.png

from wikipedia: For 1995, the Ranger underwent a mid-cycle revision for the exterior and interior. Distinguished by a revised grille (common for both rear-wheel drive and 4x4 Rangers). Although it looks like its the same basic shape just the inside of the grill has a different pattern.
Thanks for the reply! What I'm currently finding is an issue with is the grille moulding itselft. My current XLT has the top portion (in chrome) whereas the STX/Splash grille does not. Because of this, it does not fit because of the side moulding won't fit to fit to match. I've looked on every site I can think of (CARID, LMC Truck, Ebay, Amazon etc.) for the moulding portions but everything I'm finding is only for the grilles with the top moulding separate (ie. exactly like mine is now). Perhaps, a trip to the JY may be the only option for now... and of course that's only if I can find a truck with exactly what I want. What seemed like an easy swap at first has turned out to not be so cut and dry.
