YES a jeep lightning question...

Do any of you guys have friends that have KC mounted to the windshield on their wranglers? I want to know where the wires get hidden for the install??
Thanks

What do you mena by hidden? they mount on top of the hings. Just a heads up, I thought about them but a few people complain about the glare off the hood, plus you really can't lower the windshield then.

Yes, KC makes some things that block the glare, but they look REAL gaudy.....they remind me of thos ethings dogs and cats wear to prevent biting of wounds...

I ment the wires. Where do you run them into the cab. I have the hella fogs on the front bumper and do not want to loose them. I figured this gives me the lights but keeps them out of harms way.

Nice, I thought of glare but they are the 130 watt long range lights. They do not have a very wide pattern but they go for quite a distance! LOL

When I was considering them, this was BY FAR the cleanest install I found.....

Well, they may still glare, plus you will not be able to fold down the windshield. That's what killed the idea with me, especially since I now have a full cage and can fold down the windshield safely.

On the trail you may very well some day.....in the event of a rollover, it could save you a ton of $$$...that's IF you have a cage...not too safe w/o it.

As for that install, it does look real good. I beleive I've read that the Slim Lites will allow you to fold down the windshield, but can't say for sure. I know I've hit my bumper mounted lights on trees/rocks, so it's one or the other....

To answer your original question.. yes. But my friend that I know had them moved to south carolina. I have a couple other friends with wranglers, I'll ask.. not sure they have lights though.

Ok, got some info from my buddy that moved. He said...

You either drill a hole into the hinge and run them into the window frame, or you fold the window down and run them under the windsheild gasket. Hope that helps.

If/When I get more info and possibly pictures I will let you know.
