rock climbing is one type of offroading. there are several situations in all types of off roading that sliders are nice to have. ask anyone that has wheeled even a little bit.

I've seen local jeeps higher than Zach's truck rock climb, as well as broncos, suburbans, and other trucks.

edit: curious....I'm no engineer, but why only the 1 support? I seem to recall most pre-fab sliders commercially available have 3 supports.

mine will work on both types. no reason why they wont. it just all on where you mount it on the plates that are welded to the frame. should be plenty of room to make them work. I know I could. drive up with 300$ and I will make you a set

btw currently there are 3 supports on the bottom. We are going to add one more on the bottom to make 4 to the frame, just ran out of time.

any small hill that you have to get over will destroy the rockers, its just cheap sheet metal... i know theres pics of people that have destroyed there rockers from just light offroading on this site

yes.

I just need to have most of the set built and it will be no problem. plus i need you to help. as in hold them while i weld.

i have another set to make before I will make them for others. I think 300 will cover the materials but I need to double check that again.

Zach...looks great. Ervinader...looks good as well. Nice work.

Not my cup of tea in sliders though. I don't know...i just never have liked anyhting tubular. I've got mine partially built using 2x6x0.120 rectable stock. Partially built meaning all i've got done is getting the stock. lol.

its a good thing we painted thoes right away zach. its snowing here and they already laid salt on the roads. they woulda been so rusted in just 1 day.
one of my friends think its gonna break so me and my cuz both jumped on one pretty good and it seems pretty beefy. well have to beef them up a little tho when we get some time. i dont think im going to test it at work yet tho. im to nervous..lol

They look great. If/when you do decide to sell them, make sure you send me a PM w/ price and everything because I'd like a set or a tube bumper. I dont think I have cash for both for a while. You do good work, ever think about doing bumpers.
