Yea I built one for my truck... Mainly because it kept breaking and I needed to get it home. I have d-shackles mounted to my frame, so I made a tow bar that used those holes. Its made out of 2" angle iron, quarter inch thick with a receiver mount on the end. I personally hate towing with it. Just doesn't work all that well. Yes it gets me home, but I would never use it on the freeway. IDK about where you live, but here we have a store called Harbor Freight and they sell decent tow bars for 40 bucks. I would suggest investing in a real tow bar, its still far cheaper than a trailer.
