thanks . i liked ur desing thats was sorta the idea. but i could do only 1 bend cause of the bumper design so i went a lil more square on the center one.
im gona go today to mount the winch and test it to see if the bumper holds on...

that looks good didi you add any back bracing in there in case ya take a hit ( i mean i know that alone is gonna be worlds better than the stock bumper.) but still i would add a bit of back bracing in some parts corners mainly because of trails and what not in case ya hit a tree
btw not the best welds but nice in there own right and a few more of them bumpers and your welding skill will get really good then its time to go get cert in welding ( mindless rambles..... )
great lookin bumper one thing i would say is a little bit of bracing in the back and maybe a door for the top where your winch goes? if ya dont have one yet but it looks good great work

thanks. im still thinking about putting a "door" ovr the winch to hide it a little and maybe change the way i mounted the lapmps so they go directly to the winch cover, so ill see what i decide later on.... first gotta finish my traction bars before deciding what to do next...... have what ive done in the garage door fore about 2 weeks.....

If you try to use that winch, it will rip that whole bumper off. You need to add some beefy metal and make sure your welds really penetrate. But for what you had work with and for what you have invested in it it looks really good. And I am with Downey on the level thing, but I am a perfectionist for sure.

the bumper holds on... def not gona yank on it.... and not cause of the bumper.. but for the cross member that im not particularly confident.....
but itl hold on the winch.... tried it out a few times... not very hard stuff but id passed the test....
anyway hope i can do another build next year with new materials so hopefully i can make it 100x better...
