Came across a chrome roll bar that should fit my 97 Long bed. Single bar, single kicker. The only problem is that the back feet from outer edge of plate to outer edge of plate measure 56.5 inches. My measurements are showing I probably have 54.5 to 55 inches of space. Is there a way I can get this to fit, without messing up the bar?

hack the plate down and weld on to the inner part to bolt it down sounds just like the S10 one i got same thing i had to do but never installed it...

 

Cool. I got the same advice at work today. Should look pretty good when installed.
