Hi All,

I've found a used winch mount/brush guard that came off a 2002 Ranger. Does anyone here know what would be involved in installing it on a 1996? Is it a simple modification or would the retrofit create a problem for the truck when the winch is under load?

Also, is the difference in fit a matter of drilling holes or is the frame width different between various years?
