need some opinions- like it or hate it??

well i have some custom made bumpers that were on my other truck (S15 4x4) that my dad made me a few years ago and i got to thinking about putting them on my ranger... the front bumper is 2x3 rectangular tubing and the rear is 4x4 square tubing both are steel.

here is the front bumper: just imagine that the chrome bumper isnt there.

here's a straight on view

now here's the back bumper..

this is a straight on view and i hid the chrome bumper as much as possible so you/I could get a glimpse of what it would look like

both bumpers will not stick out that far, they will be in the same spot as the stock ones are now. what do you guys think?? is the front one too small?? let me know good or bad... i like the back one, the front one is still up in the air though.. when i have insurance on my truck im the one that has to pull a friend out of the situation he's in.. sometimes every weekend.. and these bumpers will hold up.

well i pulled both stockers off the ranger and then looked at the built one and its too "small" i got a lot of **** to cover and it looks weird, but i painted the inside of the stock front one and painted the brackets today and tossed it back on..

Hate it. Don't do it, leave it as is or build bumpers for your truck.

well thats good to know!!! thanks for the honest opinion.. im gonna change the front one and round the corners off abit and make it "deeper" so it covers the brakes. im gonna put the back on for now, its only 2 bolts, and add some tow hooks to it then experiment with the front bumper and see how that turns out and i might build a matching rear one too. not sure yet.
