New plate bumper build

Well I have been waiting to get back to school so i can start working on a new bumper. We just finished the first week and I have already talked my shop teacher into me letting me build a bumper and he is giving me some good ideas.

So here is what im going off of.

If anyone knows who built this let me know because I'd really like to get some more info on it.

Well first off starting next week im gonna get some card board from the art class and build a template on the truck.

Next im going to build an angle frame onto the cardboard template.

and last im going to cut out the plate on the plasma cam so its exact.

Doesnt sound hard but I dont like to take my time so Im really gonna try on this cause i want a nice solid bumper. Ill update at the end of everyday I work on it.

Can't wait too see you get started on this. I would LOVE to build one like TY 4x4 FTW, (or how ever his usernames went) one day.

Hey if anyone knows anything more about this bumper I need to know the length of the blue line I drew.

It would help me alot and save alot of work.

Yeah lol. I found it on google images

I got the frame built for the bumper today in school but ran out of time and didn't take pictures. I had to fix a friends exhaust too. If I think about it ill take pictures on Tuesday of the whole shop just to show what it looks like. I have to make bolt on mounts maybe Wednesday and the. Make an adapter for the body lift so if I get a body lift I will already have the mounts.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me in before I screw something up or do it the wrong way.

Finally got back to school and back on my bumper. I cut the piece off I screwed up and fixed her all up

This pic looks alittle off but it's not.

Here's a few pics I took of our shop today.

I'm going to mount it tomorrow and hopefully have the plate cut by the end of the week.

how does that bumper mount? Ive seen a few pics of that bumper, and have stared at it a long while because it looks like it gives really good approach angles

I have to make my own mounts. I was going to use the stock ones but I already welded a piece onto it and couldn't get it off. Ill post pics of the mount here soon. I'm going to mount it the same way as Andy did. In his build thread
