skidplate buildup for RangerExteme

RangerExteme kept buggin me so figured i would build him a skidplate, I'll post pics when i get home. I work at a steel company that makes armor for the humvee's, so i got a piece that was big enough. The only prob that i had was it was too heavy, so i just punched hole out with my iron worker to take some of the weight out of it. To bend it was a pita, couldn't find i shop with a press brake bug enough to bend it so out came the old torch and hammer. The nice thing was to cut my base shape out we have a plasma table, so that made it a little easier. All i know is i hope that i got it bent to the correct angles and all the bolt holes line up because i didn't really have the truck to keep test fitting it. Like i said as soon as i get home i'll post some pics. Tomm with be the real test to see if it fits lol The best thing about this is it was all FREE
Got all my center lines for punching the holes

just added pics so let me know what you think. This was my first try at a full plate, and the armor plate made things 10x harder

What is it going to bolt to? I noticed it won't bolt to the stock skid location.

With the quality of it adn the weight.. would you accept somewhere around a hundred bucks, then whatever shipping may be?

Its lookign fantastic, adn very very urable....

I honestly dont know the price on steel nowadays, so you got me on if I'm near a ballpark or not.. I know I would definatly pay that for myself in a second if there was one available...!

yeah we went to fit it up and of coarse i made it too long. Gonna make a few modifications to it tomm and weld mounting brackets to the frame. The only good thing that came from my f up is that the one garage we stopped at, we came away with a new roll bar/ light bar off a toyota that we are going to modify to fit all for free
