Hey you got it on, cool! I remember you talking about it at Wharton.

How's your winch now? Are you using the rear winch you had with it?

Off road Recovery is the name of the game. the angle can help if some one is stuck in a hole. It lifts as well as pulls. I can still do a straight pull using a ****** block.
I had 3 friends lose trucks about 2 years ago they went off the edge and were against the cliff under the mud if you could have pulled up instead of forward wich just drove them against the clif we might have goten them out. Before the vandals destroyed what was left. it came from a tow truck but you are right on HarryTasker when you say recovery use. look up the post by mike @ sj for a recovery i did

ya know, a lil paint, and some soap, and a lil logo, and i bet ud have ALOT of business. tho, back to topic, that is pretty spiffy, but howd you mount it? i mean like, the stock bed isnt strong enuff to hold down that crane, id like to see the other pics of the fab work cause that looks pretty nifty....

I cut holes in the bed and put 6 inch channel on the frame then laid sone 1/4 inch steel plate acrost the two c chanel pieces. This was welded together then droped back on the frame and then welded to the frame. I did a similar thing with the winch but i used 2x4 steel because the frame was closer in the middle. So far i have lifted a 3/4 ton dodge with a cummings 4 ft off the ground and my welds held. sat the back end down though

That looks freakin' sick... you should find a way to make it fold down into your bed though for when you're not using it. Love the truck too. My buddy's got a truck same year (I think) so I'll have to show him those pics...
