Anyone here ever hear of someone doing this?

I'm aware of the Cummins 4BT swap, but that is too far out of my budget.

 

I know I've seen a Kubota swapped into a Ranger, but not an Izuzu.

 

Anything can be done with enough time, effort, and money.

 

the 4bd1 is a good engine.


i like it more then i like the rattier 4bt.

for just a good running drop in swap i liked my 6.5 detroit.

i wore it right out and pieced up some military engines and they are very cost effective and run on a wide array of fuel stocks.
