Yeah I like that a lot... But I have 2 gauges to mount, and i was thinking of attaching them to the dash rather than the steering wheel. Same mount as the 1 shown just under the dash.. What do you think?

Yeah but if they are under the dash them you have to look down. If it was me I would mount them on the pillar with no pillar pod just with mounting brackets.

depends on whats going on.......I can usually get a tank to last a week or so.

If I go out fishing or hunting Its usually a tank to get there and back.. I took a trip down to Homer one weekend to go out Halibut fishing... That was a 2 tank trip..

When I get out on the Highway I aveage betweeen 18 to 20 MPG. In city its 15 to 16MPG.

Its weird the speed limit up here on the highway is 65 yet if I do 70 or 75 I get better fuel econemy....

Im guessing 70 or 75 sets the engine right in the better part of the power band.

I want to get a scan guage soon so I can monitor the truck better..

I bet one of those would be fun to monitor in your set up...

I just turned 700 miles on the s/c and everything is running great. Once you step into the gas wether at a stop or rolling, hold on cause that's when the fun begins. Smooth shifting and great acceleration, Once you get into the powerband she flies. just wish gas was cheaper!!

Lets put it this way.. paying for two tanks of gas is nothing when you come home with nearly 80Lbs of halibut you caught or help catch. halibut is going for $18 a pound on line. I didn't pay for any charter fee's either. I have a friend with a boat and RV down there..

The big one was around 150lbs I caught the one on the far right 65 70lbs. and the one next to the barn door...

So its really settin your head back on the rest then??
