turbo 2.3

I'm looking into putting a turbo kit on my 05 ranger I don't wanna pull it apart just wanna run low boost ... I found this kit

Will this work and can I just buy a cheap intercooler off eBay and make up some piping what am I missing

Won't work. Its for the older 2.3 lima engines. And don't waste your time with low boost on stock internals...complete waste

Is there any kits you can buy that come with everything ? Ill do higher.boost later just wanna work my way into it

No. there is no kits. just make yer own.

on www.turborangerforums.com there is someone who done a remote mount holset hx35w turbo on the 2.3 duratec... IIRC he was running around 10 psi on stock internals with a good tune...

A "good tune" is an understatement. One minute you'll be having a great fun time doing short pulls in boost...the next you'll be waiting for a tow back home and paying an EPA fine from the 3/4 mile long oil spill.... Buy a used junk yard engine and build it as time/money permits.
