Clay bared the truck today

I only did about half the truck. Too much work for one day. I think I'm going to do the tailgate again, O the joys a black vehicle

Looks good! Seems like yours doesn't have the horrible orange peel like a lot of the other 150s have.

It does have some orange peel near the bottom of the rockers. My ranger did too though. I am truly amazed at how much stuff came off my 'clean' truck.

Ya only the drivers side. Took me almost 4 hours, The rest will get done over the course of the week. I wanted to spend yesterday on it, but I ended up going to Vancouver to check out the olympic festivities.

just clay, no wax yet? jeez its so shiny!
looks like you could use a good polish before you wax the tailgate.
the polish should darken those swirl marks and make the black pop..

Yeah, I was a believer after my first clay bar....man, looks good.
I did my sisters Expedition once.... and only once. Its worth it, when I drive into the garage and the reflection off my wife VUE looks like a mirrored image of my side of the garage on her car...WOW!!!

No I waxed too. I plan on redoing the gate, using a polish and then re-waxing. The passenger side of the truck looks like the gate. I have a feeling I'm going to take it somewhere for a professional cut polish and wax. If I knew how to use a buffer I'd just do it myself.
