Well.. she's not perfect. This was just the first time its been hand washed this year, all its had to date otherwise was a pressure washer.
I'm hoping to drop it off with a buddy in a couple weeks and let him work his magic with a buffer. The cap really needs polished or maybe even clearcoated. I guess we'll see. I still don't think it looks too bad though.
Note the new mirror arms, and 7.5x10.5" mirror heads, with my new CB antenna. I really wanted a roof mounted whip, but it was a great deal. Oh, and the reason the body lines don't match up on the passenger side, the cab bushings go bad. No worries though, they'll be replaced SOON!
PS. I had no idea we had a separate Snapshots section for the full size trucks on the forum. If a mod/admin deems it necessary to move this thread, thats fine with me. I just now saw that section, 15 minutes later.

Everyone around here drives their trucks with the towing mirrors fully extended and I don't get it.
Lol that makes no sense and renders them 50% useless. I can barely fit in drive throughs with them all the way collapsed lol
Is it finally getting nice enough weather wise to wash by hand at your place too? Lol I've been dying to do this for a few weeks now
These mirrors make visibility much easier, and I think they look good. Not to mention, and I'm not sure it's visible in the pics, but I have a 5.5"x4" convex mirror on each mirror head, which makes visibility EVEN better.
I love it, I can see the top and bottom corners of my truck, on each side. I can even watch my exhaust pipe now Here's my mirror head in a picture I zoomed in on.

And the set up I was duplicating.

Yeah, the OEM manual mirror heads stuck out far enough, these aren't much further.

Most people here think it is cool to drive down the middle of the road on narrow streets, my wife has been run off the road in a couple places in town more than once by people like that. A bunch of the towns here are of course really old and narrow, etc. If the morons drove on their side of the road I could care less if they drove around every day with their mirrors sailing out there 2' from the truck. I think it's mostly just a local problem. I never even noticed people in Oregon having theirs extended but people there drive a lot better for the most part.
Yeah lol. I understand. Thank goodness around here we don't have to worry about that. The roads are plenty wide.
I honestly won't fold mine in unless I'm pulling into the garage for something. I don't almost ever do drivethru's anyways, as I have to shut the truck off to order, pay, etc.
I can't wait to pull the boat this summer with the new mirrors, given the awesome visibility I have now.
