Well I know its been a while since I posted anything on this Can or Worms I bought but Ive be slowly working on it cleaning it up and hopes to driving it to Kentucky this fall for the big svo meet. :)
I do have another toy other than the rangers.. Plans are to run 12's by fall with this thing just soo I can put some fear into some Import's eye's
Heres some pics.. I cleaned the crap out of the engine bay, painted it fixed a couple small areas of rust with soem weld and patch's, Cleaned and inspected all the wires to the harness and replaced a few bad pigtails.. And loomed the entire thing. I just finished today cleaning up the shortblock thats gonna be going back into it.. Turnes out the motor I had in the car was rebuilt with .030over TRW pistons. soo its going back in with a totally rebuilt head new headgasket and a powercoated ported intake and powder coated Valve cover to match :).. heres some before and after of the engine bay and a few of the motor

Rotted floors and even worse some hack tryed to fix it!!.. Ordered a new floor pan for the driverside with seat brace's and Maximum motorsports full length sub frame connectors :)... Cant wait! its getting close!

hey man i got another block if you want lol. well actually its out of a turbo coupe, but same difference.

actually i have a question for you.. i have the same valve cover as your svo, how is that breather held on?? on my cover it has a hump with a hole in it, and i cant find a breather anywhere. i even called the mustang place down the street here, they were no help.

you should do a wire tuck, hide all them wires behind your fenders :)

My breather is held on just but basically popping it in there with a rubber grommet... If I recall you have the dip down v/c... its lower in the center for the Throttle body to fit.. if soo I dont think those have breathers... I was just lookin at one today in a scap yard and i dont recall seeing one..

which one you going with? i just sold my HY35 on ebay the other day...need a stinger header?

 

Im planning on gettting a HX35.. still lookin for one. but I think in the next couple weeks when i slap it together its gonna have the stock .63 turbo on it which isent a bad turbo

 

Got my Valve cover and intake back from powdercoat today.. things came out amazing!! its amazing what skilled people can do with some junk lol

ha sorry to introud but im kinda a import guy and there is this buddy of mine that has a turbo import car that the ranger couldnt handle...and i promise u that lol...and integra...nice front mount intercooler...had one on my 87 rx7 turbo to til a guy backed into me and crushed it
