"I'm doing some work for a forum member who just happens to live only a few miles from me. We decided to install a 6.5" video monitor in the flip-down eyeglass holder. I started out by trimming the monitor bezel and the pocket so it would all fit. I then used some plastic epoxy to mate the two together. After masking it all off I mixed up some 2-part expanding foam and poured it in. This isn't the cheap stuff in the can from Home Depot. This stuff costs $60 a gallon but believe me, it's well worth it. After the foam expanded and cured I shaped it using a hacksaw blade and some files/sandpaper. I then brushed on a nice coat of polyester resin. I will let that cure tonight. Tomorrow morning I will put on a skim coat of Rage Gold body filler and some more smoothing out. It will then get texture coated and painted. Here are some pics of the progress so far:"]
