It looks nice, but can I ask why? What was wrong with the 6.0?

Yea, the FX4 says a lot, but those trucks have some serious creature comforts.

I guess I'm still in the minority, I just don't like those trucks. Ryan's is better since the whole grill isn't chrome

But I hate the new diesels the most, I don't understand why new diesels are popular, all the emissions crap has made the gas mileage horrible, and maintenance costs are very high.

Just wait, the 2013 emissions standards were released, diesels are going to be even worse.

I wish that Ford and Chevy could figure out what Cummins is doing to their engines to make them meet standards without all the extra crap

If I'm getting a diesel it will be a Cummins or a 7.3L

Well this was kind of fun lol! I didn't really trade my 6.0. This is my boss's truck and he had me drive it for a day because the dual zone climate control wasn't working and he wanted someone to tell him he wasn't crazy before he took it to the dealer.

Pretty fun truck to drive, it's super quiet. My 6.0 has more power though.

I was about to say, NOOOOO.

Im actually not to big of a fan of the newer style.

Call my crazy but Ill take your 6.0 bodystyle and the 04-08 king ranch F150's over the new styles. The gas mileage ain't there and all with the older bodystyles but TO ME, the new stuff is to futuristic and "space like" to me. Don't get me wrong they are nice, and the wifey's new focus that we got is nice and gets great mileage. But just like the trucks, the displays and radio area's are just to futuristic for me.

Just my opinion.

On a side note I might be picking up a low mileage 04-08 King Ranch F150, shhhhhh

The KRs are sweet no doubt about it. I don't mind the new fangled junk but I feel like the interior is more refined and tight in my truck even though it doesn't look quite as cool.

They drive the nicest out of all the Ford diesels. I hate diesels and I don't mind the 6.7. My friend has basically the same truck as your boss, except a Lariat. I'm always driving it, and I like it.

Dodge pays some pretty heavy EPA fines each year cause their trucks dont meet the emissions standards. The sales are good enough to make it worth it from what Ive read.

7.3 FTW

But back on track, That truck is amazing, You made a fine purchase

I don't doubt they drive nice. My gripe is with emissions equipment and all the bells and whistles that make it more of a luxury car than a truck
