Radius arms are a specific type of suspension. A 3-link can be one of several different suspension set-ups.

theres a couple different 3 links. In all technicallity a 3 link like im building with 3 Links and one panhard is a 4 link and a 4 link with a panhard is a 5 link. That makes a radius arm setup a 2 link with pan hard aka 3link. Thats why so many times they are refered to as different things. A radius arm setup gives you crappy pinion angle through out travel, where as a true 3 or 4 link with independent links the pinion angle can be adjusted depending on the lengths of the links.

if that ^^ is the case then it might be for your PVH you had.

I know i dont have that on my truck.

Looks like big progress today!

I thought the 2 links out of the 3 was going to be on the passenger side?

i could be totally wrong. when i had an insufficient egr flow code on my 3.0 i tried replacing a part that looks identical to that one. mine was mounted to the back of my coil pack though and had 2 tubes running into it. i believe it controlled vacuum to the egr.

Wow. Glad to see progress is being made again. Soon you'll be able to put some wheels on the front.

And dude love the rear bumper. I'm too lazy to go back and look, so I'll just ask here... is the rear bumper C channel or tube? Either way looks sturdy and solid. Gonna have to do something like when I do mine.

Also, where did you get those Super Pivot joints for the links?

The rear bumper is 2x4 3/16 box steel.

The superpivots are from suicidedoors.com as they made my links for me.

hmm so what im reading is that its just emissions stuff. Since the truck is no longer a road vehicle I guess I can get rid of it along with the charcol canister.
