Ok a couple more questions for ya Andrew.

1) When you go through the back of the cab, are you simply going to remove the back window? Or are you going to cut holes above the glass to tie the cab cage to the bed cage?

2) Where'd you pick up the shifter? Ebay? Junkyard? Just curious because I'd like one for the 07 if at all possible. The rubber floor and plain *** interior in that thing need something flashy. Haha...

Im not sure yet on my cage, it may come out above the window, but if it doesnt and goes through the window Ill replace the window with a plexy one so I can cut out some holes for the cage bars.

I got the shifter from the classifieds on here.

You have to move the front spring hangers forward, but the bolt in after that.

It's not hard at all.

I also have my choice of springs from jay's (seller) collection. Im going to grab a set of 350lbs/in and a set of 200lbs/in springs.

(AxB)/(A+B)= final rate

350x200/350+200=127lbs/in

These numbers are all based off of estimates. Ill most likely have to change the springs later on to get the rate I want but these will work for mock up.

I think run partials of the fender. so that it meets all the body lines at the door and hood and lights. then open them up for more room.

seats are leaning way back? or is that a visual thing?

welded any links on yet?

Seats are just chilling there. They wont be in their final position till the cage is built as they will be attached to the cage. Passenger main link is tached in. Im pissed it rained this weekend as I would have liked to get some actual work done on the truck.

This is just a simple paint drawing but this would be the idea with no fender.

I say keep the fenders and trim them, it would look better IMO.

i am sure you have seen it this way but i like when they open the fender up then run the cage along the fender opening.

Got a little done. Traded my FX4 shifter for a hurst. I also got both my lower arms welded in just need to measure for my upper y link and then get my coilovers and panhard mounted.
