Headlight and corner light mod
Headlight and corner light mod
I want your guy's opinion's should I do the light mods to my ranger? and just how hard are the corners? i read how to do the headlights and i can handle that.

and for the hell of it, i did the good old jack stand lift to see where it should sit
this is with about 2" in front and 3" on the rear
And this is about 3" in front and about 5" in back

Get clear corners or '06 corners....and DO THEM!!!!
Here's RangerExtreme's truck....veryvery similar to yours. His are painted with Dark Shadow Gray...

The sun is hitting the '06 reflector in this one...

Here are pics of the stock and modified 06 corners. I just followed the headlight mod instructions here, being careful not to pry too hard. I had to heat them twice for 10 minutes at 190F to get them to fully separate. The background and the rim of the clear lens were then painted satin black before reassembly.
You can skip painting the rim if you want but it leaves a whitish halo effect that looks different from the headlights.

Thats the man that got me to do mine. I thought the corners were really easy, the plastic is more easily messed up though so you have to be careful. I broke a set of eBay clear corners trying to mod them for someone else, I know other members have done the same.
