Icon6 Custom Skid plate Skid plate build up thread,

We I am going to be taking the lower fog light valance off and making my own custom skid plate. I have the coolest idea ever for it. Ill make this thread a build up thread. So far I just have my sheet of steel as of now. Pics will be added as progress is started.

yes defiantly get pics because I took my llower valance off also and I want something to cover up the underside.

They are going to be a step by step process in pictures. Getting the measurements now. Still need one more sheet of steel......the one i got wont be enough

Instead of putting a badge to be ripped off, why dont you cut "4x4" into it?

Here's the one I made. I just slapped on some bogus measurements to give you a general idea. I left the original plans with the shop that cut and bent it for me.

Yah I decided after I put my bumper back on, clearance can be earned with more lift I guess. Now that I have my bumper I don't even really wanna offroad it.

here is the plate cut out, now all i have to do is bend a lip for the front and the plate is done

Ok its on now. Did a fit test, painted it, than installed it. finshed product here:
